Jake Belk Field: This “Little League” baseball field was originally the property of the Aragon Mill. It was named after a machinist who worked at the Mill, Mr. Jake Belk. Jake was very involved with the youth of Aragon, including, but not limited to “Little League” baseball. After the mill was closed, the property was donated to The City of Aragon.

Tom Pittman Recreation Center: The softball field located within the center was originally dubbed “Pittman Field”, named after a long time Aragon resident, and a left handed pitcher for the Aragon Mill baseball teams, Mr. Tom Pittman. Larry Pittman, Tom’s Son, and former Mayor was instrumental in purchasing the property for $100.00 from the Polk County School System in 1973. Over the years it has evolved to be known as the “Tom Pittman Recreation Center”, home of the Annual Aragon BBQ festival, held the third Saturday in June, and the site of a newly constructed outdoor entertainment venue, “The Stage@Aragon”.

Veterans Memorial Park: This park was constructed during the 1990s and serves to honor all Veterans. It primarily accommodates young children’s play activities, with playground equipment suited for pre teenage youth.
