“The Stage @ Aragon“ was built to replace a decade old structure. A local group consisting of builders, electricians, concrete experts, musicians and sound technicians became known as the “Stage Building Team“, its members, listed alphabetical are, Steve Dutton, Rex Garner, Bobby Gibbs, Robert Godbee, Frankie Hilburn, Daniel Johnson, Scott Johnson, Mike Long, Troy Smith, Councilman Hunter Spinks and Mayor, Ken Suffridge. The materials for the 30’ by 20’ stage were purchased by the city at a discount, and ALL the labor was donated.

The Stage @ Aragon was dedicated on Saturday, June 20, 2015 during the Annual Aragon BBQ festivities.

This is one of two stages in Polk County that can host large bands. (The other being located at “The Rock”, in Rockmart)
